Smile

I think I've got my mojo back.

I'm cheerful, happy and generally hyperactive. I've gotten more organised with everything, and my mood is sky high.

Tonight I'm on my way to a 12.5 hour night shift, since uni doesn't start until the afternoon tomorrow, and I'm really looking forward to it.

Let's hope it lasts this time.

Hi, I have been reading your blog on and off for a few months now. It is very good. But I just feel I need to say that you should try some 'mindfulness meditation' so you can observe the highs and lows without getting to caught up in it. You seem to go from one extreme to another and long term as you will know yourself it is no good for your health.

There are many a doctor who end up self prescribing benzodiazepines and anti-depressants and sleep aids to assist stabilise their moods.

I really hope you can develop a way to stabilise your mood a bit more. I have noticed that you tend to lack a lot of sleep because of your shift work. That could be a start. Lay off the diet coke too and pro plus too.

I do sound like your mother and I am only a few years older. It is a great blog and you are doing well. But when your in the thick of it I can imagine it is very distressing. ...however I do feel you can't go on one day feeling happy then a few days later feeling sad....its not part of the human condition and is no good for you. It makes you no hero. You have to love and respect your own body first before you can help other people. I hope you will take better care of yourself and learn to say no so you get enough sleep and get a good diet in.

lots of love ...x

Do take care of yourself, Merys, but I think that "little" mood swings are normal- you can't be like all "plugged in" and smiling all of the time... Especially if you're under stress...

But if the mood swings bother you, then you could think of some kind of change in your everyday schedule?? Or sth?

Take care :)

Hey merys, I found time in my schedule to get around to saying I'm happy you're back on track! And that things are finally slotting into place....also, I think its payday soon and that jewellry looks like it'll match an outfit I have!
